Kroma claims to be Asia's leading Layer 2 solution built on the Superchain. It's the first OP Stack rollup with an active fault proof system using zkEVM. Kroma plans to transition to a universal ZK Rollup in the future, using its original modular ZK backend library called Tachyon. Kroma Creative Universe (KCU):

1. KCU is a gamified platform on the Layer 2 Kroma network, offering various decentralized applications (DApps) and interactive experiences.
2. Users can create an on-chain identity by obtaining a Kroman profile picture and can enhance their experience by equipping their Kroman with rare items to achieve higher scores and unlock rewards.
3. The platform is built on the concept of fairness, rewarding user contributions through a unique system that encourages growth and collaboration within the ecosystem.
4. KCU has its own lore and backstory, involving an ancient civilization that created the universe using Kroma rock and Ore.
5. Key elements of KCU include:
   • Kromans: The diverse species inhabiting the universe
   • Ore: A vital resource used for crafting and rewards
   • Factory: A facility for crafting items from Ore (coming soon)
6. Users can obtain Ore through quests or purchases, with the amount available through quests expected to decrease over time due to scarcity.
7. Crafting items from Ore will allow users to earn rewards, including $KRO tokens, and influence decisions within the KCU.
8. The platform encourages early participation, as Ore rewards may become scarcer in the future.
